Features to know about

Heats and Cools Year-Round: 15,000 Btu AC and Built-In Heat Pump

When the weather doesn’t make up its mind, this system’s got it covered. The GE Appliances Deluxe Plus RV AC System delivers 15,000 BTUs of cooling power for blazing summer days and a built-in heat pump for when mornings start out cold. It keeps things comfortable without having to rely on propane, using electric power to take the edge off chilly air.

Even Airflow Across Every Room: Ducted Design with Complete Kit

If you want consistent comfort front to back, the ducted setup makes it happen. Cool or warm air moves evenly through the vents for balanced temperatures throughout the space. The system comes with everything needed—an air distribution box, thermostat, and control board—so you’re not chasing down extra parts to get it running.

Ready for Modern Standards: R32 Refrigerant and All-New Components

GE built this unit around the next-generation R32 refrigerant, which meets 2025 EPA regulations and runs efficiently with less environmental impact. It’s a clean start from older R410a systems, meaning you’re upgrading to a future-ready setup that’s built to last.

Built Tough for the Road: Reinforced White Shroud and Compact Build

Travel takes a toll on gear, but this rooftop unit is made for it. The automotive-grade polymer shroud holds up against wind, rain, and road debris while keeping weight manageable at 78 lbs. Its white finish looks clean on any roofline, and with overall dimensions of 32-13/16" long x 26-1/8" wide x 13-15/16" tall, it stays low enough to leave room for roof gear.

Simple Power Setup: 115V Operation with 20-Amp Circuit Rating

Powering the system is straightforward—just a standard 115V connection rated for a 20-amp breaker keeps everything running smoothly. The heat pump kicks in down to 25°F, extending your comfort range without extra wiring or propane use.

Had this unit installed professionally and immediately went in a camping trip. Unit is not working properly. I have been told it is probably a faulty temperature sensor. No one at GE will help me because they will only speak to a technician. Every technician I have called in my area will not work on GE telling me they are a nightmare took in and with.

Quieter than our older model and cools the camper quickly.

by:

Super quiet and cools super fast! Great product

by:

Unit only ran for 2 months before it quit. Everyone at Etrailer is great, GE RV air conditioners are no good. I have been through 5 in 3 years. I am trying a different brand next.

by:

Happy customer. Box was a little banged up in shipping, but unit arrived undamaged due to good styrofoam padding inside.

by:

Was a perfect all around transaction. Staring with the support on finding a replacement, shipping was fast, and product was just what I was hoping for. I had such a good experience that I will be going to them first in the future and giving others recommendations to use etrailer.

by:

The sealed package for unit's control box was missing the 3 pin Phoenix Connector which goes to the thermostat. I ended up grabbing one off Amazon with next day delivery and got it connected. From there it currently works great even with the abuse UPS did to the packages. I just hope this GE AC lasts longer than some of the other reviewers or the original GE AC unit that came with my RV (less than a year).

by:

Works 100% better than the one that was ripped off the top of my trailer. But honestly it is quite and pumps cold air around 42F and we love it.

  • Replacement AC for Coleman Mach 7000 on 2003 Fleetwood Discovery 38U
Hey Keith! I just got your questions so I'll address everything on this one. All of the replacement AC units have switched to the new R32 refrigerant so a complete replacement is necessary. This will include a wall thermostat so you don't have to worry about compatibility or if the existing one even works. The GE AC you were looking at will work as a replacement for the Coleman. The correct system will depend on whether you have a ducted or ductless setup, the color, and if you want the...

  • Replacement for Dometic AC on 1999 Newmar Mountain Aire With Ducted Setup
Hey Christopher! A heat pump isn't available for the old Furrion you were referencing. Also, everything has moved from the old R410A refrigerant to R32 following the 2025 EPA regulations. Since parts aren't backwards compatible you will need a complete system replacement for your old Dometic setup. For an AC that comes with a heat pump I recommend one of the new GE Appliances AC systems. You can choose from the following: -GE Appliances Deluxe Plus RV AC System w/ Heat Pump - Ducted -...

  • Do You Have an AC Unit that Does Not Require an Air Distribution Box?
Hey Scott. All of our AC units require an air box. The closest thing I have to what you're describing is going to be the GE Appliances Deluxe Plus RV AC System w/ Heat Pump - Ducted - 15,000 Btu - White - Complete System item # GE85ZR. This would be a complete replacement system with a heat pump but you would have to install an air distribution box. What kind of trailer or motorhome do you have?

  • Replacement AC System for a GE ARH15AACWL1 AC Unit
Hey Ricky, thanks for the part number. Your GE ARH15AACWL1 is a 15,000 btu AC with a built in heat pump. It has the older 410a refrigerant in it. To replace it, I recommend the GE Appliances Deluxe Plus RV AC System w/ Heat Pump - Ducted - 15,000 Btu - White item # GE85ZR. The GE item # GE85ZR is the latest model and includes the new R32 refrigerant. This kit comes with a 15,000 btu air conditioner, a built in heat pump, air distribution box for ducted setups, and a thermostat. What...

  • Best Replacement For Duo-Therm AC/Heat Unit On 2003 Holliday Rambler
Hey Lynn, thanks for reaching out. The Advent # ADV23SR you mentioned comes with a manual control distribution box and does not operate thru a wall thermostat. It also doesn't have any heat capability so while you technically could use it to replace your Duo Therm setup, you'd be losing out on the thermostat control and heat capability. We do offer the Advent unit with a wall thermostat, and the part number for that system is # ADV92SR. This does not have heat capability, but you can...

  • Replacement AC Unit for a 2015 Forest River Grey Wolf Travel Trailer
Hey, Randy. I totally understand wanting a true plug and play replacement, especially with summer approaching sooner than we may think and not wanting any surprises during install. Due to the RV industry switching to R32 refrigerant last year to meet 2025 EPA regulations, current A/C units are no longer compatible with 2024-and-older systems. Unfortunately, that means there isn’t a true plug-and-play option for replacing an older A/C unit. We do have replacement options depending on your...

Hey Gil, thanks for reaching out. We do have a replacement for that but with your current Dometic unit being original from 2016, you will have to replace the entire AC system meaning a new rooftop unit, distribution box and thermostat. Yes, you can replace your front 13.5K AC only unit with a similar size heat pump model, but since you’re planning to update both units, moving to a fully matched system is the best way to ensure everything communicates and performs correctly. I have a couple of options for you but none of them are going to be plug and play. These are brand new systems from GE that include a heat pump along with a 15,000 btu AC unit. You can only add the item # ADV34QR heat strip. You don't want to pull the old AC off, haul the new one up, plug it in and find that it isn't working and requires a new air distribution box and thermostat to function. Hey Fletch, the heat pump feature on the GE Appliances Deluxe Plus RV AC System w/ Heat Pump # GE85ZR is nice but it's not going to keep a travel trailer warm if its 30 degrees outside. You would need to have a furnace for those types of temps. We have propane furnaces though like the Dometic part # DMC54RR which puts out 30k btu of heat and would do a great job.
